This 8,500 sq. ft. fire station was constructed to provide fire protection to the Northeast side of Coeur d’Alene. The concept for this facility design was to incorporate traditional fire house elements, while blending with the residential character of the neighborhood.
The building includes a 4 bay apparatus room, a 30 person meeting/community room, offices, dormitories, exercise room & shop.
Designation as an “essential services” building by the county required careful detailing in design and construction.
